Shooting on set at a music video is enjoyable, but definately a job and a half. There is a wide variety of shots you're trying to get -basically everything that is happening on camera as well as all the stuff going on behind the scenes. It's a long day and you're guaranteed to know the song really well by the time leave the set. You can only hope the track is good. In this case, the song was called "L.I.F.E." and its very good. It features Lil Mama showing a maturity in her lyrics far beyond what she gave us in "Lip Gloss". She's dressed as a crackhead in one scene and as a pregnant mom in another.

Working for Sony BMG this day, I was on set for about 13 hours...by the time I was done, I felt pretty much the same way Lil Mama looked in this scene where she's playing a crackhead.
